Role: Human Resources Manager

Location: Cork City

Salary: €50-55k

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Represent HR on the Management team, ensuring HR related issues are considered within the overall business strategy.
  • Oversee he recruitment and selection process to ensure the hotel attracts and retains the best talent.
  • Conduct interviews and manage the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote a culture of teamwork and inclusivity.
  • Address employee grievances and mediate workplace disputes to maintain harmonious working relations.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and hotel policies.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and employee performance.
  • Oversee employee benefits programmes, including pensions and health insurance.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and review compensation structures.
  • Ensure the hotel complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure the HR system is kept current and functional.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in handling complex employee relations issues.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
