Inventory Control Supervisor / Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Dublin 15

Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm

Salary: €40k

Role requirements: 

  • Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and measuring operations within a warehouse facility.
  • Work from customer business schedules, develop daily schedules and measure performance to schedules.
  • Maintain continuous focus on Employee Welfare with specific emphasis on Health & Safety and Housekeeping.
  • Manage and maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations. Inventory Integrity program to be maintained above customers’ expectations.
  • Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks
  • Perform cycle stock checks. Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed, and resolved. (AAR’s, 8D’s). Report findings to the Operations Manager in a timely fashion.
  • Develop the company’s inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling costs within budgetary limits, generating savings, rationalising inventory, and maximizing space.
  • Supervise and organize the daily activities of your warehouse team in order to meet the highest level of customer service and required service levels. Achieve 100% inventory record accuracy.
  • Direct and motivate warehouse team in order to meet operational goals. Provide routine management information on inventory performance
  • Liaise with customer on a daily basis.
  • Mentor and coach the team in order to ensure full performance potential.
  • Ensure that the stock control is well organised and controlled to sufficiently support production and the goals of the business.

Candidate Requirements: 

  • 3 Years Minimum Team Lead / Supervisory experience in relevant industry and experience in training of warehouse staff.
  • This is a supervisory position. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills required.
  • Third level qualification in a relevant field desired
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems

  • Commitment to Safety

  • Customer focused individual with at least 3 years experience in a logistics role within a large organisation.

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.

  • People management skills – ability to motivate, coach & develop staff.
