Executive Talent are delighted to be working alongside our renowned client who are looking to grow their operation and require an experienced Production Operations Manager to join the team and lead an established High Care Food Production facility in South Dublin. The ideal candidate will ensure to improve production efficiency, achieve KPIs and performance objectives, and reduce costs while ensuring quality and health and safety standards are not compromised. Previous experience in Food production is essential, preferably in a high care environment.
Role Requirements:
- Overseeing production with responsibility for staff on the floor.
- Ensure daily order fulfilment and smooth running of factory floor.
- Manage and oversee all dispatch & goods in
- To build a continuous improvement environment and develop multidisciplinary ‘LEAN champions’
- Working collaboratively with all other departments
- Manage reporting, projections and inventory
- Establish, manage and deliver KPI’s
- Training, upskilling of all employees ensuring a multi-skilled workforce is achieved.
- Identify and implement efficiencies across production
- Assist and manage the delivery of key projects.
- Lead the team with a hands on approach to build morale and get the best from our people. Promoting a positive culture.
- Communicate, implement and monitor adherence to, company policies, procedures and standards, including Personnel, Technical and Health & Safety,
- Train and develop the team to meet current and future departmental needs, ensuring good performance management.
Candidate Requirements:
- Leadership ability, personal pride and confidence to motivate and manage.
- Conscientiousness about deadlines with organisational ability and the adaptability to take responsibility for a wide range of ta
- Good industry knowledge and sufficient process experience in new technologies.
- The ability to contribute to the management team, the initiative to develop innovative solutions to problems and the determination to complete projects and implement change
- Must have senior level experience in a multi-national/ large company environment in FMCG.
- Stock management experience
- Lean Six Sigma Green or preferably black belt
- Third level education is essential, ideally in food or process technology.
