Role: Warehouse Manager

Location: Dublin 10

Salary: €55k – €60k

Role Requirements:

• Ensure Warehouse operatives follow operational processes and procedures, comply with Company policies and work effectively as a team
• Ensure staff follow Company Policies and Procedures, communicate effectively with staff as directed by the Managing Director.
• Conduct competency & efficiency reviews for all staff in line with policy.
• Address staff grievances and any disciplinary matters in line with policy. Absence management in line with policy.
• Responsible for all warehouse recruitment.
• Ensure adequate skillset exists across all warehouse functions; identify knowledge gaps and promote internal training where relevant and necessary.
• Work with the team in scheduling the workload and in rostering the staff for the business peaks and summer holiday period.
• Responsible for small team of delivery drivers (and vehicles) who are tasked with completing daily delivery schedules and ensuring daily vehicle checks are completed.
• Arrange for the provision, maintenance, and repair of equipment in line with policy; Ensure an excellent standard of housekeeping is maintained throughout the facility.
• Ensure compliance to GDP standards.
• Ensure compliance to WDA in line with current HPRA regulations & license .
• Maintain training records for all personnel.
• Manage Health & Safety locally; Conduct and review risk assessments of all activities in line with policy;
• Ensure full compliance with all group H&S policies.

Candidate Requirements: 

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
• Strong people management, organizational & interpersonal skills.
• Background knowledge of HR & employment law.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
• Third level qualification would be desirable.
• Ability to work well under pressure, delegate and effective time management are all key skills for this role.
