HR Generalist

Role: HR Generalist
Location: Charleville, Co. Cork
Salary: €36k – €45k DOE
Role Requirements:
- Manage the recruitment process by advertising job vacancies, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
- Oversee the induction of new employees, ensuring they are properly trained on company policies, procedures, and their specific roles.
- Assist with performance management by coordinating annual appraisals, setting goals for employees, and supporting managers with performance reviews and feedback.
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, helping to resolve conflicts and mediate disputes to ensure a positive working environment.
- Organise and facilitate training sessions to improve employee skills, ensuring they are up to date with industry standards and company requirements.
- Support to ensure accurate payroll administration for all staff.
- Stay updated on Irish employment law to ensure the company is fully compliant with all relevant legislation, including worker rights and legal requirements.
- Implement health and safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring employees are aware of safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe workplace.
- Support with fostering employee engagement by developing programmes aimed at boosting morale, providing incentives, and working to reduce turnover.
- Maintain up-to-date and confidential personnel records, including contracts, performance reviews, and other HR documentation, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or similar required.
- Experience working in hospitality would be a distinct advantage.
- Strong understanding of
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a HR related role required.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
- Full Driver’s Licence required.
