Our client is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join their team. The Electronic Technician will work 2 – 3 days in Tramore, with the remainder in Cork.

Role Requirements:

• The Electronic Technician will be responsible for the installation, support, maintenance, overhaul, adjustment and modification of in-house computer and machine systems.
• Assist non-technical staff in resolving and explaining issues to the customer.
• Optimise performance, troubleshoot a variety of computer and machine issues, both hardware and software to reduce downtime.
• Keep record of services carried out on machines.
• Manage spare parts and control stock levels.

Candidate Requirements:

• The Electronic Technician will have previous hands-on repair experience with electrical equipment such as PCs, laptops, smartphones, or a relevant electronics qualification.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Experienced in component replacement skills and soldering.
• Previous experience in fault finding in electronics.
• A full clean driving license with own transport.
• Must be able to do weekend work on occasion.
