Trade Counter & Collections Salesperson

Role Requirements:

• Ensure company Health and Safety standards of performance are always adhered to.
• Ensuring all customers who present at the trade counter and collections areas are dealt with in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Maintaining a high level of housekeeping of counter areas and “front of house”.
• Provide the highest level of picking and packing standards of customer products for collection and occasionally for delivery.
• Proactively communicating with customers and sales staff of the progress of orders and ensuring outstanding collections are kept to a minimum.
• Preparation of orders for delivery and collection to ensure all inbound and outbound deliveries are checked accurately and that no sub-standard or incorrect goods are received into the warehouse or dispatched to customers.
• Ensuring that all sales and returns are processed on the K8 computer system in accordance with current processes and pricing.
• Replenishment of stock locations.
• Assist in cycle counting and stock checks in conjunction with the Stock Controller.
• Keep up to date with new products stocked in the store.
• To be sales and service focused.

Candidate Requirements:

• Manual Handling Certified.
• A good knowledge of the Heating & Plumbing industry would be a distinct advantage.
• Serving customers and providing advice on products
• Strong Organisational & Communication Skills.
• Attention to detail & see tasks through to the end.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Computer Literacy, knowledge of Kerridge/K8 would also be an advantage.
• Fluent in English.
• Candidates must have the right to live and work in Ireland on a permanent basis.
