Role Requirements:

• The BMS Engineer will operate, monitor, and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure optimal building performance.
• Analyse system trends to identify inefficiencies, faults, or potential improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with HVAC, lighting, and other building automation systems.
• Commission new systems and upgrades as required.
• Generate reports and provide recommendations based on trend analysis.
• Liaise with contractors, facility managers, and other stakeholders to ensure system performance and compliance with standards.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, maintenance activities, and updates.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards in all BMS operations.

Candidate Requirements:

• The BMS Engineer will have proven experience as a BMS Engineer or similar role in building management or facilities engineering.
• Strong experience in using BMS Trends for analysis, reporting, and fault detection.
• Knowledge of common BMS platforms (e.g., Trend, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric).
• Experience with HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and implement corrective actions.
• Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
• Relevant technical qualifications in Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
