Role Requirements:

• Assist in preparing and analysing project costings and budgets.
• Support senior commercial staff in tendering and procurement processes.
• Monitor project variations and manage subcontractor accounts.
• Prepare valuations and final accounts under supervision.
• Liaise with site teams and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular cost reports and forecasts.
• Conduct valuations, manage variations, and assess contractor claims.
• Ensure contractual and financial compliance across the project.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on commercial matters.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a QS or commercial support role.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proven experience in a similar role within large-scale construction (main contractor) or engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
• Enthusiasm and results-focused, with the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Effective negotiation skills with both internal and external customers.
