Role: Health & Safety Manager – Logistics
Location: North Dublin – Travel between other site required from time to time
Salary: €75k+
Role Requirements:

- Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies specific to logistics operations.
- Ensure alignment with local, national, and international regulation
- Conduct regular risk assessments of warehouses, transport routes, and loading/unloading operations
- Identify potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on safety procedures, use of protective equipment, and emergency response
- Promote a culture of safety across all levels of logistics operations.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe practices
- Prepare reports and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor compliance with OSHA (or equivalent) regulations and industry standards
- Maintain records, prepare reports for senior management, and liaise with regulatory bodies
- Implement health and safety audits and inspections
- Recommend process improvements to reduce workplace injuries and operational risks.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or CSP are highly valued.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation safety is preferred.
- Strong risk assessment and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and training abilities.
- Leadership skills to manage safety teams and influence organizational culture.
