Role: Audit Manager

Location: North County Dublin

Salary: €50k – €55k

Role Requirements: 

  • To manage a portfolio of audit and accounts engagements, ensuring all engagements are completed in line with professional standards, in accordance with deadlines and agreed timeframes.
  • To oversee and review statutory financial statements, accounts files for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
  • To review corporation tax returns prepared by junior staff and ensure filings are made in accordance with deadlines.
  • To supervise junior staff and provide assistance regarding technical queries and professional development, including conducting periodic appraisals.
  • To liaise with clients throughout the year and ensure excellent client service is provided at all times.
  • To liaise with all other departments ensuring all potential client needs are identified and serviced accordingly. To manage the profitable recoverability of work in progress, and ensure monthly agreed targets for billable work is achieved.
  • To maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge through appropriate reading and course attendance, and to fulfil the Institute’s CPD requirements.
  • To assist in proposals for new work, and to take part in formal presentations to prospective clients. To attend staff meetings and training as required.
  • To assist with ad hoc business consultancy.
  • To carry out any other duties as are within the scope and purpose of the job, the title of the role and its grading, as requested by the director.
  • To uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct.

Candidate Requirements: 

  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent
  • At least 3  years PQE working in a fast paced audit department or practice
  • Proven ability to manage and lead teams
  • You will have strong technical knowledge, e.g., UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS and ISA’s
  • You will be tech-savvy
  • You will have a pro-active approach to tasks, big and small
  • You will be motivated by a fast-paced environment You will be keen to immerse yourself in our culture
  • You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • You will have excellent planning and organisational ability
  • You will have excellent attention to detail
