Role: Business Development Manager – Air Freight
Location: Cork
Salary: €65k – €75k
Role Requirements:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to increase revenue and market share, primary focus on Air/Ocean shipments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and key decision-makers.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive threats, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activity via CRM tool.
- Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities and progress.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform business strategies.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in business development and sales in the freight marketplace.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven and successful business development experience in the freight marketplace.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in market research and analysis.
- Experience in developing and implementing business plans and strategies.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
