Role: Business Development Manager – Air Freight

Location: Cork

Salary: €65k – €75k

Role Requirements:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion.
• Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to increase revenue and market share, primary focus on Air/Ocean shipments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and key decision-makers.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive threats, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activity via CRM tool.
• Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities and progress.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform business strategies.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven track record of success in business development and sales in the freight marketplace.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven and successful business development experience in the freight marketplace.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in market research and analysis.
• Experience in developing and implementing business plans and strategies.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
