Role: Customs Clearance Agent
Location: North Dublin
Salary: €40k – €45k
Role Requirements:
- Prepare and process customs documentation for import and export shipments.
- Ensure all customs clearance procedures are followed in compliance with relevant legislation.
- Communicate with customs authorities to resolve any issues that arise during the clearance process.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to provide timely updates on shipment statuses.
- Verify and check shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Maintain accurate records of customs documentation and ensure all records are up to date.
- Stay informed about changes in customs regulations and always ensure compliance.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in customs clearance – minimum 2 years essential
- Strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in relevant customs software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade agreements
