Role: Customs Clearance Agent

Location: North Dublin – Dublin 15

Salary: €35k – €38k

Role Requirements:

• Prepare and process customs documentation for import and export shipments.
• Ensure all customs clearance procedures are followed in compliance with relevant legislation.
• Communicate with customs authorities to resolve any issues that arise during the clearance process.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to provide timely updates on shipment statuses.
• Verify and check shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and carriers to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of customs documentation and ensure all records are up to date.
• Stay informed about changes in customs regulations and always ensure compliance.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in customs clearance, l
• Strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures, especially in relation to import/export in the EU.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in relevant customs software.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade agreements
