Role: Customs Clearance Specialist
Location: North Dublin
Salary: €40k – €45k
Role Requirements:
- Prepare and process import/export customs documentation (e.g. SADs, transit declarations)
- Ensure compliance with Irish, UK, and EU customs regulations
- Liaise with customs authorities, clients, and internal departments
- Generate port-related references (e.g. PBN, GMR)
- Verify shipping documents such as invoices, CMRs, and packing lists
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely processing of shipments
- Handle customs queries and resolve issues efficiently
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum two years experience in UK/IE road freight customs clearance essential
- Strong understanding of customs procedures and compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills for dealing with clients and authorities
- Proficiency with Customs systems required
