Financial Accountant

Role: Financial Accountant

Location: North Dublin

Salary: €60k – €70k DOE

Role Requirements: 

• Effectively optimising receivables and payables to free up working capital.
• Completing month end routines including prepayment, accrual, and depreciation posting.
• Manage the audit process and assist the finance manager in the preparation of annual financial statements for audit.
• Assist the finance manager in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Cost analysis and reporting on monthly variances.
• Bank reconciliations and analysis of cash flow.
• Managing fixed assets to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Liaise with outside agencies on pension and taxation matters including preparing, negotiating, and completing revenue audits, corporation tax, VAT, and payroll tax returns.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified or finalist with minimum of two years industry experience.
• Significant proven track record and experience in the financial reporting, month end process, and working to challenging deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to think critically and generate multiple solutions to challenges.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Excellent organisation skills.
• Highly motivated with ability to use own initiative.
