Role: Financial Controller
Location: South West Dublin
Salary: €100k+
Role Requirements:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Provide detailed financial analysis and insights, presenting results to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Manage the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with all regulatory tax requirements
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial reporting packages for investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process and regularly update financial forecasts based on performance and market conditions.
- Work closely with department heads to ensure alignment between financial plans and business goals.
- Provide financial forecasting, identifying any potential risks or opportunities.

Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Implement and monitor compliance with financial policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Support and liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process, ensuring timely completion.

Cash Flow and Treasury Management:
- Oversee cash flow management to ensure that the business has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations.
- Monitor working capital requirements and implement strategies to improve cash management.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions as needed.

Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Coordinate training programs and resources to enhance team capabilities.

Cost Control and Profitability:
- Identify and implement cost control measures to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Support operational managers by providing financial analysis and recommendations for cost-saving opportunities.

Tax Planning and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with Irish tax laws, including VAT, corporation tax, payroll taxes, and other relevant filings.
- Work closely with tax advisors and external consultants to develop effective tax strategies and minimise tax liabilities.
Candidate Requirements:

- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA are essential.

- At least 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Experience in Irish tax laws and regulatory compliance is essential.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
