Role: Freight Sales Executive – Inside Sales

Location: Dublin 9

Salary: €45k + package

Office based role

Role Requirements: 

• Freight Sales Executive – Inside Sales
• Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, email campaigns and referrals.
• Develop relationships with new and existing customers across a range of industries.
• Prepare competitive quotations for air freight, sea freight, road freight and customs brokerage services.
• Follow up quotations and convert enquiries into long-term business.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts.
• Work closely with the operations team to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Maintain accurate customer records and manage your sales pipeline using the CRM system.
• Achieve agreed sales activity and revenue targets.
• Keep up to date with market trends, shipping solutions and customer requirements.

Candidate Requirements: 

• Minimum 3 years experience in Operations / Sales admin in a freight forwarding environment. 
• Experience within freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping.
• Good understanding of freight and import/export procedures.
• Previous experience preparing freight quotations or managing customer accounts.
• A strong interest in developing a career in sales.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to winning new business.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
