Role: Financial Accountant

Location: Hybrid role – 2 Days Home / 2 Days Bray / 1 Day City Centre

Salary: €50k – €60k

Role Requirements: 

  • Working with the Finance team to ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly management accounts ensuring integrity, accuracy, consistency and providing clear visibility of the financial health of the business.
  • Business Partner to assist Operational Managers to drive accountability / transparency / insight to control costs / maximize revenue
  • Weekly Flash reporting to track business performance
  • Understanding and challenging current business practice, identifying and implementing initiatives to improve processes and deliver business growth objectives.
  • Partnering with the business leads to prepare full annual operating plans and periodic forecasts.
  • Close working relationship with Operations to ensure accurate and timely billing, efficient payroll reporting and driving improvements in the working capital.
  • Detailed financial analysis and presentation of financial information to support decision making.
  • Ad hoc analysis and presentation of complex financial information in response to senior management requests.
  • Develop and report KPI’s relevant to the business.
  • Support operations teams with cost management of client contract costs.
  • Support Ad hoc requests as requested by client
  • Identify and drive financial efficiency ensuring the correct allocation of the Division’s resources.
  • Provide objective challenge to the Division’s performance and plans.
  • Undertake contract profitability analysis, providing insight to Operations on opportunities and risks.
  • Support business adherence to group financial governance processes.

Candidate Requirements: 

  • Part Qualified / Recently Qualified Accountant
  • Hospitality and Events Experience (2 years plus)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and ability to prioritize a challenging workload and use initiative.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information
  • Able to produce concise and informative reporting under tight deadlines.
