Role: Hotel Marketing Manager

Location: Cork City

Salary: €40-45k

Maternity cover – fixed term contract

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the hotel’s services and facilities.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, target markets, and competitive analysis.
• Maintain and enhance the hotel’s brand image through various marketing channels.
• Ensure all marketing materials align with the brand’s identity and standards.
• Manage and optimise the hotel’s online presence, including the website, social media platforms, and online advertising campaigns.
• Analyse digital marketing metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to improve performance.
• Plan and execute promotional events and activities to increase the hotel’s visibility and attract new guests.
• Collaborate with local businesses and tourism boards to create partnership opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets and industry influencers.
• Manage press releases and media communications to ensure positive coverage of the hotel.
• Prepare and manage the marketing budget, ensuring all activities are cost-effective and within allocated resources.
• Monitor expenditure and provide regular reports to senior management.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
• Proficiency in marketing software and tools such as SEO, SEM, CRM systems, and social media platforms.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
