Hotel Marketing Manager
Location: Cork City
Salary: €45k
Maternity cover – fixed term contract
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Marketing Manager to join our team in Cork City. This role is ideal for a passionate marketing professional with a proven track record in the hospitality industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to enhance the hotel’s brand, drive occupancy, and increase revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the hotel’s services and facilities.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, target markets, and competitive analysis.
- Brand Management:
- Maintain and enhance the hotel’s brand image through various marketing channels.
- Ensure all marketing materials align with the brand’s identity and standards.
- Manage and optimise the hotel’s online presence, including the website, social media platforms, and online advertising campaigns.
- Analyse digital marketing metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to improve performance.
- Plan and execute promotional events and activities to increase the hotel’s visibility and attract new guests.
- Collaborate with local businesses and tourism boards to create partnership opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets and industry influencers.
- Manage press releases and media communications to ensure positive coverage of the hotel.
- Prepare and manage the marketing budget, ensuring all activities are cost-effective and within allocated resources.
- Monitor expenditure and provide regular reports to senior management.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools such as SEO, SEM, CRM systems, and social media platforms.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
