HR Manager

Role: HR Manager

Location: Limerick  

Salary: €50k – €55k

 

Role Requirements: 

  • Ensure adherence to HR policies and continuous improvement of HR processes.
  • Assist with staff sourcing, recruitment, performance management, discipline, and HR administration.
  • Coordinate employee work permits, visas, and departmental training.
  • Implement corporate policies for compensation, incentives, bonuses, and benefits.
  • Monitor employee morale through absenteeism, turnover, lateness, and resignations.
  • Coordinate employee wellness, safety programs, and new hire orientation.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate training programs.
  • Promote employee conduct standards and manage disciplinary procedures.
  • Ensure annual appraisals are conducted and address development needs.
  • Assist in communication of key messages to staff and recruitment processes.
  • Support HR policy and procedure formulation for various departments.
  • Ensure promotions, transfers, and resignations comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Develop and conduct management training on leadership and HR topics.
  • Support staffing and training efforts to align with operational needs.
  • Organise employee activities, events, and wellness initiatives.
  • Administer employee recognition programs (e.g., Employee of the Month).
  • Advise leadership on employee relations, morale, counselling, and discipline.
  • Promote communication and feedback channels for staff.
  • Manage employee grievance resolution and maintain positive staff relations.
  • Maintain confidential employee records and HR-related databases.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or similar required. 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a HR related role required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management role required.
  • Hospitality experience would be beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage confidential information.
  • Familiarity with a HRIS System and strong IT Skills required.
