Our client, based in North Dublin, is looking for an ambitious IT Support Technician, who is looking to develop their career, to join their dynamic team.

Role Requirements:

• IT Support Technician will assist in the administration of approx 150 users.
• Manage and administrate IT assets for recording and accounting purposes.
• Support onboarding/offboarding processes including device setup and recovery.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
• Contribute to knowledge base articles and internal documentation.
• Support IT-related projects such as system rollouts, upgrades, and relocations.
• Ensure compliance with IT security and operational procedures.
• Work in accordance with all company policies

Candidate Requirements:

• IT Support Technician will have strong inter-personal and communication skills.
• IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation)
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
• Capability to work via a support desk ticketing system helping both local site and remote users needing assistance.
• Familiarity with Windows Automated deployment tools, including WDS, and maintenance of deployment images.
• Good understanding of hardware support, able to troubleshoot and repair most simple hardware issues
• Basic level of skill in supporting VOIP telephony hardware.
• Own Transport and driving licence are a must
• Physically fit and able to lift IT items and kit
