Role: Life Science Freight Sales Manager

Location: Leinster

Salary: €80k – €100k plus package

 

As the Life Science Freight Sales Manager, you will be responsible for spearheading our sales initiatives within the pharmaceutical sector. You will leverage your industry expertise and sales acumen to identify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, and achieve revenue targets.

 

Role Requirements:

 

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the life science & pharmaceutical freight division, focusing on both new business acquisition and existing client retention.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with pharmaceutical companies, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics within the pharmaceutical logistics sector.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present customized proposals and solutions to clients, addressing their specific logistics needs and compliance requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and compliance teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and address any client concerns or issues.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets, reporting on performance and providing insights for continuous improvement.

 

Candidate Requirements:

 

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales within the logistics or life scoence / pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical logistics, including regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools.
