Role: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Dublin North

Salary: €36k – €40k

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods, materials, and shipments through the supply chain. The ideal logistics coordinator will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment. EXET22

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including booking transport and liaising with freight carriers.
• Track deliveries and provide real-time updates to internal teams and customers.
• Prepare shipping documentation (invoices, packing lists, customs declarations, etc.).
• Liaise with suppliers, warehouses, and internal departments to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Expertise at warehousing, inventory management and freight forwarding
• A keen understanding of supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions
• Quick critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to use computers, WMS software and other technology for inventory management and communication purposes
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory reconciliation activities.
• Resolve transport-related issues such as delays, damage, or compliance queries.
• Maintain accurate records in logistics and warehouse management systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant transport, customs, and safety regulations.

Key Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience in logistics, transport coordination, or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, Incoterms, and freight management.
• Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to work extended hours when required.

Desirable:

• Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• Experience in both domestic and international shipping.
