Role: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Celbridge, Kildare

Salary: €35k – €80k DOE

Role Requirements:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of quantity surveying for projects from beginning to completion.
  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs.
  • Monitor project progress and report on financial status.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
  • Advise on procurement strategy.
  • Resolve disputes and manage contractual issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on all projects.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified Quantity Surveyor.
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficient in the use of industry-specific software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eligible to travel to the UK.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., SCSI).
  • Experience working on a variety of construction projects.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
