Role: Road Freight Manager – European
Location: North Dublin
Salary: €60k – €70k
Role Requirements:
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and vendors.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to ensure competitive pricing and service levels.
- Coordinate shipments and ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor and optimize freight costs and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain best practices for safety and compliance.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the road freight team.
- Import / Export Operations
- Creating and invoicing of jobs
- Develop new business and expand in existing clients
- Communicate all information correctly to hauliers
- Keep customers informed of any changes to delivery schedules
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in European Road Freight
- Strong systems experience – Azyra preferred
- Strong administration skills
- Excellent communications skills, written & verbal
