Role: Senior Airfreight Operations Executive

Location: North Dublin

Salary: €50k – €55k

Candidates must have own transport as location is not accessible by public transport.

Role Requirements:

• Ensuring all shipments and customs requirements are handled according to company and international regulations.
• Checking paperwork prior to the shipment being collected to eliminate any controllable delays.
• Gather comprehensive customer and shipment requirements to ensure we are meeting the customer needs in compliance with local and international regulations.
• Book consignments with airlines and service providers using an online portal, email and phone.
• Create shipments on the Cargowise System and to ensure all documents are dropped to edoc tab within each shipment for traceability.
• Check rates and arrange billing of shipments to record profit margins on consignments.
• Provide the customer with regular, accurate and timely updates on shipment status.

Candidate Requirements:

• Full Driving Licence.
• 3+ Years experience working in either Cold Chain or time sensitive multimodal freight forwarding, Airfreight import and export operations, pharmaceutical industry, ideally within logistics with knowledge of reusable temperature-controlled packaging.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• A valid IATA Dangerous goods and aviation security qualification.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• A team player with the ability to work on their own initiative.
