Role: Shipping Administrator

Location: Naas

Salary: €36k+

 

Role Requirements:

  • Sharing Reception duties to include taking incoming calls and forwarding same.
  • Logistics administration, planning and co-ordination of transport for daily shipments
  • Completion of documentation to accompany shipments.
  • Invoicing for shipping department.
  • Production and stock administration, including data entry, checking records and distribution of information.
  • Working as part of a team ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist with inquiries from customers regarding shipment status, delivery issues, and other logistics-related matters.
  • Liaise with internal and external logistics providers to ensure shipments are completed as scheduled and manage any delays or issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for shipments, inventory, and financial transactions in the company’s systems.
  • Resolve logistical and administrative issues, such as shipment delays, missing items, or discrepancies in invoices, efficiently and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations, including customs requirements and health & safety standards.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Professional, friendly manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Adaptable and flexible.
