Trade Counter Sales

We are delighted to be starting the process to recruit a successful and energetic trade counter sales person to join our well known client based in Dublin 18.  This will be a full time permanent role in a fast paced business, suitable candidates will have previous experience in a busy organisation dealing with the public as well as being extremely organised and proactive in the role. Previous experience in construction / plumbing industry would be an advantage but not required as a team player is the vital ingredient for this role. EXET22

Sales & Store’s Support

• Ensuring the efficient processing and follow-up of customer enquiries regarding Materials
• Support and assist with all Trade Counters Sales and Enquiries
• Support the Stores/Warehouse ensuring all company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow up skills.
• Maintaining effective communications with suppliers regarding the sourcing and delivery of all materials
• Answering phones – upselling by continually expanding orders and up selling material on all incoming and outgoing calls.
• Serving customers on the phone and a busy trade counter

Skills and Experience Required

• This role would best suit an upbeat and self-motivated individual who enjoys working systematically, productively and to deadlines
• Have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast paced and energised environment.
• Have a strong interest in delivering superb customer and after-sales service
• Knowledge of Plumbing & Heating and or Building Materials highly desirable but not essential
