Role: Warehouse Operations Manager – FMCG
Location: North Dublin
Salary: €70k – €80k
Role Requirements:
- Oversee warehouse operations to ensure seamless execution of importing, packing, and dispatching processes.
- Guarantee on-time, in-full delivery to customers, ensuring the highest level of service.
- Work closely with Logistics, Quality Assurance, and Finance teams to drive operational efficiency.
- Optimise production schedules, workforce allocation, and resource planning to meet business demands.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure all products meet the highest food safety and quality control standards.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to uphold hygiene and compliance in line with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain audit-ready operations, ensuring compliance with both customer and industry regulations.
- Develop and enforce a zero-accident culture, ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety policies.
- Work closely with the Health & Safety Officer to implement and improve safety protocols.
- Investigate any workplace incidents, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve safety measures.
- Promote safe working practices across operations
- Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Work with HR to drive employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with Irish employment law, including working time regulations and workforce management best practices.
- Ensure accurate stock levels, efficient stock rotation, and waste reduction.
- Work with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
- Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost control and efficiency
Candidate Requirements:
- Significant experience in operations management, preferably in fresh produce, food manufacturing, or logistics, but transferable skills from other industries will be considered.
- Proven track record in leading and managing large teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in implementing and enforcing health & safety regulations, working closely with H&S Officer.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with HR to drive employee engagement and compliance with employment laws.
- Expertise in supply chain, inventory management, and logistics.
- Knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and operational reporting tools.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with different departments.
